Pre-Press

In keeping with Bema’s goal to improve quality, shorten lead-times and reduce the overall cost to our customers, we have invested heavily in new pre-press and printing technology.  The Bema Tech Center incorporates all the capabilities of the newest state of the art digital plate making and proofing technologies. This unique ability provides Bema’s customers with quickest turnaround and highest quality printing available in the industry.  The Tech Center incorporates EskoArtwork’s industry leading workflow integrated with Dupont’s Thermal Plate Processing Fast System to achieve the highest quality product available.  Proofing is done on the Epson Stylus Pro 9880 UltraChrome Proofer  and the Epson WT 7900 with Ultrachrome HDR White.  Both are driven by EskoArtwork Color Engine®.  The capability achieved in the Tech Center is then integrated with both our Mosstype Digital Mounters and printed on our W&H Primaflex 10 color press or W&H Miraflex 8 color press.

Printing

One consistent goal for Bema is to find ways to produce high quality products, faster and more cost effective for our customers.   Keeping with that goal, Bema has invested in a a 10-color W&H Primaflex gearless press as well as a new 8-color W&H Miraflex gearless press.  The addition of these presses brings a whole multitude of enhancements in flexographic printing.  The Primaflex has the following built in quality enhancements: print error detection, bar code scanning, and color variation scanning.  The Miraflex has the same quality enhancements, but also has the EasyCol® color matching system.  These, along with faster make-ready times, provide customers with high-end printing on small to medium size production runs in a minimal amount of time.

Converting

The final requirements for any flexible manufacturing company are to provide its customers with quality converting capabilities. For Bema, this is one of our true strengths and core competencies in manufacturing. Bema has a wide variety of converting capabilities including: high-speed slitting, unmatched poly bag converting resources and high-end pouch making. Our converting department has over 50 years of industry experience and is in sync with the company’s vertically integrated manufacturing philosophy. By having this capability, our customers enjoy a seamless manufacturing process providing the highest quality, lowest lead-times and greatest overall value.

Lamination
